A few practical points before you send product files, samples, and revision requirements.
What information should I send first?
Send the product reference, drawings or specifications you have, target market, expected quantity, customization needs, packaging or label requirements, timing, and any known issues from previous samples.
How many sample rounds will I need?
There is no useful fixed number. The right number depends on product complexity and how close each round gets to the agreed requirement. Each round should close specific issues rather than repeat vague feedback.
Can packaging, labels, and branding be approved in the same process?
Yes, when they are included in scope. They should have their own approval evidence so a product approval does not accidentally imply that unfinished packaging or artwork is also approved.
Does an approved sample replace product inspection?
No. The approved sample helps define the production reference. QC & Inspection checks whether bulk goods actually conform to the agreed requirements before shipment or at the agreed production checkpoint.
